A Flint of Light

Hey Guys!!

And many welcomes to my third post ‘A Flint of Light’! …See what I did there….get it?… cos it’s like… like my name?…okay yes that was terrible. I’ll stick to the day job.

ANYWAY I hope if you are reading this you are feeling wonderful and having an amazing day so far! So this post is going to be a little different to my previous two posts in that it isn’t a series of photos from an adventure day, (unfortunately work and the weather haven’t been accommodating for that of late), BUT if you enjoyed that kind of post never fear I have a post of that nature coming up VERY soon!

So in the meantime I thought I would share with you some of my favorite landscape shots! Landscape photography is one if my favorite things to shoot. I love how the same scene can look so different, peaceful and serene, or dramatic or mysterious depending on the light and time of day.

The images in this post are themed, (YAY THEME! everyone loves a good theme), across sunsets, twilight, or when the light was reflecting/glinting in what I thought was an interesting or beautiful way in which to capture (hence my genius title, I know you loved it). These were all taken at a river that runs close to where I live, one of my favorite places ever…

Amazing photos. I particularly love the statuesque ‘witchy charcoal trees and rich caramels. Which canal were you walking along?
